Radboud University wants to contribute to a free and healthy world with equal opportunities for all and to make a significant impact on a regional and an international level. At our university, research and education go hand in hand. We are active across a wide range of joint academic disciplines and we continue to ask questions about the relationship between knowledge, society and the meaning of life. We also offer scope for open discussion on social and ethical issues.

The Radboud Institute for Biological and Environmental Sciences aims to perform world-leading research in order to understand the response of the natural environment to human impact, as described by our research mission “Towards Healthy Ecosystems”. We have four research themes, one of which is dedicated to understanding stress responses and adaptation mechanisms.

Role in the Legume Generation project

Radboud University coordinates WP9 (Phenotyping support). Furthermore, we are responsible for screening the reproductive heat tolerance of various legume crops and developing hyperspectral imaging as a tool for field crop evaluation.
