For over 80 years, Lidea’s expertise in seeds and research and development have enabled us to bring out the best in nature and support farmers in their vocation: to feed the planet. Lidea offers a wide range of seeds and solutions to enable every farm to optimise profitability throughout the year. Our offer includes corn, sunflower, cereals, rapeseed, forages and cover crops, soybean, sorghum and pulses. These seeds meet the requirements of food, feed and energy outlets. Lidea has 19 research stations with nearly 250 employees. Approximately 10% of turnover is invested in R&D to offer a comprehensive and differentiated range of high added-value solutions for farmers practising conventional and organic farming. R&D ensures a flow of ever more.

Working alongside farmers, Lidea offers solutions (products, services and expertise) to farmers who want to make the transition to agroecology, by developing farming practices that are both positive for the environment and profitable: adapting to the climate, making the most of water resources, preserving soil health and biodiversity, reducing inputs, etc. efficient genetic and varietal innovations to meet the needs of farmers and markets, while taking into account the technical, agronomic, soil, climate and commercial requirements of all farmers.

• Provider of genetic resources for soybean, lentil and beans. Fields phenotyping and nurseries for these 3 crops.
