Euroseeds is the voice of the European seed sector. We therefore represent the interests of those active in research, breeding, production and marketing of seeds of agricultural, horticultural and ornamental plant species. Today, Euroseeds, with more than 30 national member associations from EU Members States and beyond, represents several thousand seed businesses, as well as more than 70 direct company members, including from seed related industries.

Role in the Legume Generation project

Euroseeds is involved in the organization of training and capacity building activities to support the partners in their plant breeding and related activities. In addition, Euroseeds is leading two tasks addressing business aspects of legume breeding and to undertake financial assessments based on case studies of the project to address closer-to-the-market challenges and solutions for legume crop breeding. Euroseeds is involved in the communication, dissemination and exploitation work package of Legume Generation to raise the awareness about the project, to facilitate dissemination of results to stakeholders and to establish long-lasting innovation partnerships between the project partners and beyond.
